I fell in love with the entire process: kneading the dough, watching it rise, shaping the loaves, the signature aroma in the kitchen while they bake, and the best part — burning fingers on a still hot slice while spreading too much butter along the top to fully fill each perfect pocket before sinking my teeth into the slice. — There are few things that a person can enjoy eating every day; bread is one of them.
